1. Motto Apparel is an independently-owned and run company in Boston, MA, USA. We accept all major credit cards through Paypal, our credit card processor. We also accept orders via mail order (click for form.)

Your credit card statement will show PAYPAL* MOTTO APPAREL for any order you place from MottoApparel.com

2. All merchandise is LIMITED-EDITION. This means that items will become discontinued without warning. If you see an item you like, please buy it now - it may not be available in one or two months.

3. If you have any problems with your order, READ THIS WHOLE PAGE, AND THEN EMAIL US IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS. We will respond to your email within a day and fix any problems you may have.

4. We offer $5 flat-rate shipping for all orders! All orders over $100 will be shipped for free.

 


All of our shirts are printed on American Apparel, Anvil and HYP tees.

None of our t-shirts currently have ANYTHING printed on the sleeve or the back! They are professionally screenprinted by Lucky Bunny in Pawtucket, RI and Expertees in Stoneham, MA.

1. If you want an exchange, e-mail us, and write "exchange" in the sibject line. DO NOT SEND ANYTHING TO US WITHOUT WRITING FIRST.

2. If you order the wrong item and/or size, you can send it back to us and we will replace it with your choice of an in-stock item for a nominal fee ($3 US, $5 intl.) If you order a limited-edition item which we no longer have in the size you want, you can pick a different item in the correct size. For an exchange, write to the address at the bottom of this page.

3. Very rarely, customers will order one item and receive an incorrect item. If this happens to you, PLEASE BE POLITE, but write us immediately so we can take care of it. We ship hundreds of orders most weeks, and errors will occasionally happen. We will switch out your shirt at no cost to you and ship the correct item via USPS Priority Mail, as soon as you write us to tell us what's happened. The address is at the bottom of the page.

4. If it is our error, you will not be responsible for the cost of shipping item(s) back to us.

 



1. To submit a mail order, please use the mail order form.

2. If you mail order items, please be aware that it may take 1-2 weeks for your mail order form to arrive to us. Delivery times on mailorder items are 3-4 weeks (US) or 8-10 weeks (intl.) AFTER we receive your form.

3. All mail orders must be submitted in US FUNDS ONLY. No coins, no checks, no foreign currency.

4. If you submit a mail order with a check, with an incorrectly-formatted money order, with foreign currency, or if you send less money than is required for your order, YOUR ORDER WILL NOT SHIP UNTIL YOU SEND THE BALANCE OF THE PAYMENT.

5. If you try to purchase out-of-stock items via mailorder, we will substitute in-stock items as appropriate. Please do not attempt to order items which are not shown on the merchandise page(s) of the website(s) you want to order from. If they are not on the page, it means we don't have them. Most of our t-shirts are limited-edition.

 


1. We do not issue refunds for orders which have been paid and shipped. If you order something, PLEASE DOUBLE-CHECK TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ENOUGH MONEY! Most orders are packed and shipped within 48 hours of receipt of payment. We can exchange your item(s) once they arrive, but we will not refund your order just because you've decided you don't want it.

2. You may not use someone else's credit card to place your order. If you live with your parents and order stuff from us without telling your parents, they will hassle us. We don't want that. You don't want that either. If you are under 18 or do not have access to a credit card, please use the mail order form.

3. We do not sell 2XL/3XL shirts. They sell very poorly compared to the other sizes of shirts, are more expensive to print, and take up a lot of room on our shelves. Please don't write to ask for them, either - we've tried to sell them on four separate occasions in the past, and it has never worked.

4. We do not custom-make merchandise. What you see is what you get. We have all our merchandise mass-produced to ensure that it lasts a long time and looks good. Keep in mind that if you order a t-shirt from a site which offers custom merchandise, the shirt will either take 2-3 months to print/ship/arrive to you, or it will be a low-quality iron-on transfer shirt. We ONLY sell high-quality t-shirts, silkscreened with cured polymer inks, and meant to last for 10+ years.

We are generally available to answer emails Monday through Friday. All questions which are not answered on this page will be answered within a day of your email. PLEASE BE POLITE! Our goal is to ship as much high-quality merchandise as fast as possible. If you are writing to ask about an order, please include the date of your order, the full name/shipping address on the order, and the item(s) which you have ordered. Do not just write us with a "transaction ID" number, as we can not reliably look up orders by this number.
