general information
1. Motto Apparel is an independently-owned and run company in Boston, MA, USA. We accept all major credit cards through Paypal, our credit card processor.
Your credit card statement will show PAYPAL* MOTTO APPAREL for any order you place from MottoApparel.com
2. All merchandise is LIMITED-EDITION. This means that items will become discontinued without warning. If you see an item you like, please buy it now - it may not be available in one or two months.
3. If you have any problems with your order, READ THIS WHOLE PAGE, AND THEN EMAIL US IF YOU HAVE QUESTIONS. We will respond to your email within a day and fix any problems you may have.
shipping and delivery
1. We offer $6 flat-rate shipping for all orders within the United States. International orders will include an additional $6 surcharge on each item purchased to cover international shipping and handling fees.
2. We will provide tracking numbers or e-mail confirmation for orders once they have been shipped. Our shipments do not require a signature upon delivery. We will ship to any address, including PO boxes.
3. If you order one or more items which is not scheduled to ship until a date in the future, we will ship the items we have in stock in one order, and the backordered items when they become available. Both will take the usual 2-3 weeks (US) or 6-8 weeks (intl) to arrive.
4. If your package is returned to us due to a postal error, we will re-ship it to an alternate address, once, at our cost.
5. Please do not put a fake name on your order. Your mailman will not deliver an order if it is addressed to "Cool Dude". You will have to pay to have your order re-shipped to you if you give us a fake or incorrect address and your package is returned.
where is my order?
1. Your order will take 2-3 weeks (US) or 6-8 weeks (intl) to arrive.
2. If your order does not arrive within 3 weeks (US) or 8 weeks (intl) please contact us. The most likely reason for a package not arriving is that it has been held in a mailroom or post office on your end. If you live at college, DO NOT ORDER UNLESS YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY SURE WHAT YOUR ADDRESS IS. If you live at college and your order has not arrived, IT IS PROBABLY IN THE MAIL ROOM AT YOUR DORM.
3. If you are outside the US you will almost certainly have to pick your order up at your post office. Your mailman may not even leave a note. Please check at your local PO before writing to ask about your order status.

5. If you write to ask about the status of your order, please include the following information: Date of order. Full name and shipping address on order. Sizes/styles of item(s) ordered. This information lets us look up your order and let you know its status without having to go back and forth several times.
international orders
1. Any destination outside of the 50 US states is considered to be international. US military (APO) addresses are considered US orders and will not have to pay for international shipping.
2. International orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail and will take 6-8 weeks maximum to arrive. Most international orders arrive within 2-3 weeks, but Customs may hold your package for inspection.
3. If you do not pick up your package at the post office and it is returned to us, you are responsible for the cost of re-shipment to you.
4. International customers are charged a $6 shipping fee per order, plus a $6 per item surcharge to cover international priority shipping fees.

All of our shirts are printed on American Apparel, Anvil and HYP tees.
None of our t-shirts have ANYTHING printed on the sleeve or the back! They are professionally screenprinted by Expertees in Stoneham, MA.

Women's sizing information:
SMALL - US size 0-4 - chest 31-33"
MEDIUM - US size 4-8 - chest 34-36"
LARGE - US size 8-12 - chest 37-39"
* Most of our shirts are NOT available in XS/Youth Large. We can provide 2X and 3X, but we don't keep them in stock, so it may take some extra time to process your order. If you need a size that you don't see here, please email us and let us know.
exchanges and returns
1. If you want an exchange, e-mail us, and write "exchange" in the subject line. DO NOT SEND ANYTHING TO US WITHOUT WRITING FIRST.
2. If you order the wrong item and/or size, you can send it back to us and we will replace it with your choice of an in-stock item for a nominal fee ($4 US, $6 intl.) If you order a limited-edition item which we no longer have in the size you want, you can pick a different item in the correct size..
3. Very rarely, customers will order one item and receive an incorrect item. If this happens to you, PLEASE BE POLITE, but write us immediately so we can take care of it. We ship hundreds of orders most weeks, and errors will occasionally happen. We will switch out your shirt at no cost to you and ship the correct item via USPS Priority Mail, as soon as you email us to tell us what's happened.
4. If it is our error, you will not be responsible for the cost of shipping item(s) back to us.
contacting us
We are generally available to answer emails Monday through Friday. All questions which are not answered on this page will be answered within a day of your email. Our goal is to ship as much high-quality merchandise as fast as possible. If you are writing to ask about an order, please include the date of your order, the full name/shipping address on the order, and the item(s) which you have ordered. Do not just write us with a "transaction ID" number, as we can not reliably look up orders by this number.
